Nevertheless at Your Word. Many times in our life, we feel like we are living in a desert and we cannot see the green pasture around us. I have been in that place many times.
Are you LIVING in Lo-debar? Many times in our life, we feel like we are living in a desert and we cannot see the green pasture around us. I have been in that place many times. Here is Good News – The One who is leading us like a Shepherd has a promise for us in Psalm 23:2, He makes me lie down in green pastures; He leads me beside the still waters.
Who is Jesus to you?
To explain Him is impossible! To ignore Him is disastrous! To refuse Him is fatal! You have to understand the covenant in order to understand your Identity. You first have to DIE to yourself before you can start to LIVE!
The lukewarm church and to the angel of the church of the Laodiceans. Jesus says that the church in Laodicea is lukewarm, neither cold nor hot. In this letter, Jesus expresses His desire for this church to see the reality of their own condition and of the world around them.
Now the Lord said to Samuel, “How long will you mourn for Saul, seeing I have rejected him from reigning over Israel? Fill your horn with oil, and go;”
Why was Samuel’s horn empty?Because he had poured out all his oil upon Saul. Saul’s kingdom was Samuel’s DREAM! That’s how we feel sometimes when something doesn’t work out.
God is busy preparing us, His Bride for His Son Jesus Christ. God wants us to grow up spiritually and ONLY trust in His Written Word on a daily basis, not on what happens AROUND us.
Now understand—sheep are not the smartest animals, so they need someone to take care of them, protect them, and even correct them. Sheep need guidance to safe pastures and we too need a Shepherd to guide us to safety and lead us to provision.
We all experience difficult times and go through challenges during our lifetime. Times when we have no answers. Even times when nothing we do works and it even feels like God is silent! But God brings life.
