Understanding Processing Times

We get it, you want your order ASAP! While we process orders as quickly as possible, some things are outside our control, affecting delivery timelines. Here’s a breakdown of payment processing times:

  • EFT – Instant (Express EFT): Choose “Express EFT” during your bank payment to have funds reflected immediately. We process orders instantly during weekdays before 4 PM. Orders after 4 PM will be processed the next business day.
  • EFT – Standard (Normal EFT): Standard EFT payments typically clear within 48 hours (2 business days). However, payments from First National Bank (FNB) often reflect instantly.

Important Notes:

  • Stock & Price Changes: Inventory and prices can fluctuate during processing. We only process orders after receiving payment. We’ll notify you if changes occur or additional payment is needed.
  • Out-of-Stock Items: If an item sells out, you can choose a different product or request a refund by contacting us with your bank details. Please note, PayFast refunds incur a 3.5% handling fee.

By selecting PayFast as a payment method during checkout you will be able to make payments in many different ways. Some of these are:

  • Mobicred – installments.
  • In-store payments (Post-Office, Checkers, House & Home etc.)

Your Banking Information is Safe with PayFast

We prioritize your security. That’s why we don’t capture, handle, or store your bank card information. Instead, PayFast, a secure payment gateway, handles all your banking details. This ensures your information remains confidential throughout the transaction.

Timing

Please note that payment processing occurs before the delivery process begins. Processing on EFT payments starts as soon as the payment is reflected in our bank account, and PayFast processing begins almost immediately. Payfast orders exceeding R30,000.00 may take longer for clearance and processing due to security reasons.

Card Fees

All Payment Gateway Payments bear a handling fee.

Weekends & Holidays

All orders received on a weekend and a holiday will be processed on Monday or the first day after the holiday.

Why PayFast?

We use PayFast as a payment gateway for its security, if you are not in a hurry to get your delivery and need to be 100% sure that your card payment is secured online, Payfast is the one for you. PayFast gives you a 100% guaranteed secure payment facility.

Is PayFast secure?

Absolutely! And often more so than many other payment methods!

  • PayFast is PCI DSS Level 1 Service Provider (the highest level).
  • PayFast is developed with the same demands on security and performance as websites used for banking services and share trading. Your account login, personal details, and all money transactions are secured using Secure Socket Layer (SSL) technology with high-security 256-bit encryption.
  • Your sensitive financial information (like credit/debit card details) is never sent to the people you pay! So you can send money without sending your financial information! So you don’t need to worry about paying people you don’t know.
  • We make use of 3D Secure to further enhance the security of credit card transactions on PayFast.

Note: Dispatching of orders only starts once your payment is reflected in our bank account for EFT Payments.

Refunds

Product Refunds

Returns and refunds will be made according to our returns policy stated here.

Software Development Refunds

Refunds will only be made on Written E-mail Refund Requests that we received and confirmed as received before the commencement of any software project. Once a software development and design project starts NO refunds will be made. In many cases, this is because “Stock” in the form of tangible or intangible goods will be purchased to complete certain projects.

Late or missing refunds

  • If you haven’t received a refund yet, first check your bank account again.
  • Then contact your credit card company, it may take some time before your refund is officially posted.
  • Next, contact your bank. There is often some processing time before a refund is posted.
  • If you’ve done all of this and you still have not received your refund yet, please contact us at [email protected].

Vat Invoices

Please note that Qwixby is NOT VAT registered and does not charge VAT. However, we do provide invoices with each successful transaction.
